Invite via Public Link
If you don't have an ATS integration or want to share an interview link manually, you can copy a public invite link directly from Ezra.
Get the link
- Go to My Interviews
- Select the interview you want to share
- Click Invite candidates
- Copy the interview link
You can share this link over email, LinkedIn, or any other channel.
Important differences from ATS invitations
| Feature | ATS link | Public link |
|---|---|---|
| Candidate identified automatically | Yes | No — candidates enter their email |
| Results sync back to ATS | Yes | No |
| Link is unique per candidate | Yes | No — same link for everyone |
Candidates must self-identify
Because the public link isn't tied to a specific candidate, anyone who clicks it will be asked to enter their email address before starting the interview. Ezra uses this to attribute their results.
Results don't sync to ATS
Interviews completed via a public link are tracked in Ezra but not synced back to your ATS. You'll need to manually reference Ezra results when reviewing candidates in your ATS.
If tracking candidate status in your ATS is important to your workflow, use ATS invitations instead.
When to use a public link
- You don't have an ATS integration
- You're running a quick pilot or test
- You're sharing the interview through a non-ATS channel (e.g., a job posting, LinkedIn message)
Candidate experience
Once a candidate clicks the link:
- They're prompted to enter their email address
- They see an overview of the interview (company, role, estimated duration)
- They complete a quick audio/video check
- Ezra conducts the voice interview
- They see a confirmation screen when done
No downloads are required. The interview works directly in the browser (Chrome or Edge recommended).
