Additional Context

Additional context is Ezra's knowledge bank for the role. This is where you give Ezra the information it needs to answer candidate questions about the company, the role, compensation, and the team.

info

Content added here affects what Ezra knows, not what Ezra asks. It won't change the interview questions.

Context Documents

Upload files (.docx or .pdf) that contain role-specific information — for example:

  • Role overview documents
  • Compensation information
  • Team structure or org charts
  • Company descriptions or culture decks

Documents added here are specific to this interview only. If you have documents that should be available across all interviews (e.g., general company information), upload them under Profile → Company Settings → Company Documents instead.

Additional Context (free text)

Type any content you want Ezra to know:

  • FAQs about the role
  • Key facts about the team
  • Information about the hiring process or next steps
  • Common candidate concerns and how to address them

Candidate Questions

This section shows questions that candidates have asked Ezra during interviews. You can pre-populate it with answers to common questions — especially next steps after the interview and team composition, which most candidates ask about.

As more interviews are completed, Ezra will automatically surface new questions in this list so you can answer them for future candidates.

How Ezra handles unknown questions

By design, Ezra will not guess answers to questions it doesn't know. If a candidate asks something Ezra doesn't have an answer for, it responds:

"The recruiting team hasn't given me the answer to that question, so I prefer not to guess. I'll let them know you asked."

Any question that Ezra couldn't answer more than twice will automatically appear in the Candidate Questions list — giving you the opportunity to provide an answer so Ezra is prepared next time.
