Training Overview
Before candidates can start interviewing, you need to train Ezra for that role. Training tells Ezra what to ask, how to evaluate answers, and what to know about your company and the job.
Navigate to My Interviews → select your interview → Train Ezra.
The training steps

| 2 | Role Details | Review only |
| 3 | Interview Questions | Highly recommended |

| 5 | Additional Context | Recommended |
| 6 | Interview Settings | Optional |
| 7 | Test Interview | Optional but encouraged |
| — | Notifications | Optional |
Required vs. optional steps
At minimum, Ezra needs interview questions (Step 3) to conduct a structured interview. Without them, Ezra will generate questions on its own based only on the job description.
To get the best results, also complete:
- The Perfect Candidate (Step 4) — so Ezra evaluates candidates against your specific criteria, not just the job description
- Additional Context (Step 5) — so Ezra can answer candidate questions accurately
Important: changes only affect future candidates
Updates to training — questions, rubrics, ideal candidate description, settings — only apply to future candidate evaluations. Candidates who have already completed their interview are evaluated using the training that was in place when they interviewed.
